The Event
Many of the early attempts at operating models were based on the Spotify model - tribes, chapters, and squads with agile and 'agile-light' working methods. The thinking behind these models was driven by agile thinking, not by what is needed to optimise strategy delivery. In recent years, organisational design has significantly matured; however, many organisations remain static with their operating models. Their models need to change to be responsive to their customers.
In our first ALC meeting for 2025, Kacper Mazek will work through common challenges organisations experience in moving from outdated operating models to more responsive, strategy-driven models including:
- Distribution of power and authority on your operating model
- How to create a cross-functional structure while reducing complexity in operationalising the day to day ways of working
- Roles and efficiency
- How to continuously update your model to shift with the business strategy
Target audience
The ALC is a safe and supportive space for leaders to support each other with the challenges they face in modernising their businesses. It is designed for business leaders - Heads Of, General Managers and Executives. It is not for agile practitioners, consultants, contractors, service providers or salespeople.
