Kiya Basabas is a data scientist who helps organisations make better decisions with their data. Having spent her career in consulting, she has a proven track record of delivering across New Zealand’s public, private, and not-for-profit sectors, including health, education, primary industries, and insurance. Most recently a Manager in PwC New Zealand’s Finance, Economics and Analytics team, she combines technical rigour with a firm belief that the best results come from working closely with the people who know their context best. Kiya is known for making the complex simple.

Outside of work, Kiya is happiest spending time with her partner, daughter, and two dogs. You’ll find them getting outdoors or gathering friends and family around the dinner table.
