Look beyond frameworks and processes to develop an agile mindset that can be applied to any situation, not just software.
There is a lot of confusion about what agile is and isn’t. One common misconception is that agile is a framework or a process. This can lead organisations “doing agile” – that is following the framework but failing to get the benefits. Agile is a way of thinking and a way of operating. To get the true benefits of agile, it is important to start with understanding the agile mindset.
This workshop is designed to help attendees understand what an agile mindset is and how and build one. It is a non-technical course that focuses on agile for any situation, not just software. It explores the underlying values, principles and practices of agile, helping attendees experience and understand them deeply. It balances a solid appreciation of agile thinking, while also providing practical outcomes that can immediately be put to use based on real world experience.
- At the end of this course, students will understand:
- The Agile mindset, values and principles
- Where agile does and doesn’t apply
